Who is this program for
This program is designed for licensed professionals in permanent makeup, tattooing, esthetics, nursing, or related medical-aesthetic fields and anyone who wants to learn. No shortcuts, no simulations—this training is for those who want to work confidently with real restorative cases
Enrollment
Each available date below represents one complete 3-day training session. Enrollment is limited and closes once a class is filled. Select an available date to secure your seat.
What Makes This Training Different
This is not a surface-level class — and it is not limited to one type of restorative work.
This advanced paramedical tattoo training is designed for artists, medical professionals, and creatives who want to learn how to work confidently with real skin, real scars, and real people. Beginners are welcomed.
Whether you come from tattooing, permanent makeup, esthetics, nursing, plastic surgery environments, or you are completely new to tattooing, this program is personalized to you. With a maximum of two students per class, the training adapts to your background, learning style, and long-term goals.
This is intentional. We want you to thrive, not just complete a course.
What Hands-On Means in My Class
Hands-on means something very specific here. This is a two-person class, and we move like we are working in the field. You are live with me in a real studio, on real client after real client, from the first day to the last.
How the Days Run
Class starts at 10 AM and ends anywhere between 5 and 7 PM. The end time depends on the clients, because when we are working on a real person, we never leave them halfway done.
On the first day, we usually spend an hour or two on color and needles and practice mixing color. Then we start with a client, often within the first couple of hours. There is no fixed schedule, because I work to fit in as many good client cases as I can, and real people's schedules change. Being flexible is part of working with live clients.
What You Learn by Doing
Areola work
How to mix color and create formulas
How to layer color
Which needles to use on which scar types
How much pressure to use on different scar types
How different scar textures change the protocol
Most of the time, we talk through each case, then get right into it, and you learn as we go. You receive the bookwork after enrollment, but the heart of this course is in the chair, working with me. I believe that is how people truly learn.
See Real Healing, Not Just Day One
Some clients in class are returning after earlier sessions, so you see the work at different stages. You may see how a healed areola looks, how a brachioplasty scar looks after one session, or how a dark scar turned out after it was lightened. Seeing real healing is one of the most important things you can learn.
Come Ready to Jump In
This class moves quickly, and you will be working on real clients right away. There may be moments you feel challenged or unsure, and that is completely normal. That feeling is part of learning by doing. No one becomes an expert in three days. This class gives you a strong start, and your skills keep growing with practice at home and with every client you take after.
A Clinical, Hands-On Course
We touch on the basics of how a paramedical tattoo practice runs, but this is not a business or marketing course. You learn how it all runs by being live in it, working alongside me in a real studio on real clients.
Ongoing Support on Areola and Scar Work
After class, you have ongoing support on areola and scar work to help you through your cases as you build your skills. It is hands-on, clinical support, focused on the work itself.
Do I Need a License to Take This Course?
Yes. To take my paramedical tattoo training, you must already hold a Florida tattoo license. You will be tattooing real clients during class, and Florida law requires anyone who tattoos in Florida, or works in a tattoo establishment, to hold a Florida tattoo license.
If you are coming from another state, you will need to get a Florida tattoo license before class, because you will be tattooing here in my St. Petersburg studio. It costs a little over one hundred dollars, and part of getting it is completing a Florida-approved bloodborne pathogens course, which you can find on the Florida Department of Health website. Call the health department for the current fee and exact steps.
Where You Can Work After Training
In Florida, you can only tattoo in a place that holds a Florida establishment license. If you plan to open your own studio, you will need an establishment license for your space. If you plan to work inside a med spa or a plastic surgeon's office, make sure that business holds a Florida establishment license before you start.
Every state has its own laws. If you will be working back home in another state, check your own state's requirements.
Comprehensive Areola & Nipple Restoration Training
While many programs focus primarily on scar camouflage alone, this training places deep emphasis on advanced areola and nipple restoration, an area we are widely known for.
Students receive in-depth instruction across multiple areola and nipple modalities, including:
-
Areola maximization
-
Areola minimization
-
Natural nipple creation
-
Nipple maximization
-
Nipple minimization
-
Nipple duplication and restorative detailing
This includes work related to post-mastectomy reconstruction, plastic surgery, asymmetry correction, and natural aesthetic restoration.
Areola work is complex, nuanced, and highly specialized. It is not treated as an overview here — it is taught with precision, intention, and respect for the skin.
True Hands-On Training With Real Cases
When we say hands-on, we mean real cases — not simulations.
Depending on availability during your training dates, hands-on experience may include:
-
Areola and nipple restoration
-
Facelift scar camouflage
-
Tummy tuck scar camouflage
-
Post-surgical scar work
-
Dark scar camouflage
-
Complex multi-scar cases
Students are guided through treatment planning, color science, needle selection, depth control, and decision-making for each individual client.
This is how real paramedical tattooing works. No two cases are the same — and learning to adapt is part of mastering this craft.

What Makes This Paramedical Tattoo Training Different
This is a 3-day, hands-on paramedical tattoo training in St. Petersburg, Florida. You learn on real clients, with real cases, and with me right beside you the whole time.
You Train on Real Clients
During training, you work on real clients with real cases. These can include areola work, tummy tuck scars, facelift scars, breast surgery scars, C-section scars, and stretch marks. I have hundreds of documented cases from my own clients at Imagine You New, and you learn the same methods I use every week.
You Learn Color
Color is everything in paramedical tattooing. You learn how to read skin undertones, choose the right pigment, and adjust color session after session so scars and areolas blend naturally into the skin.
Small Classes
Classes are kept small, with no more than two students, so you get hands-on time and direct guidance on every client.
You Leave With a Portfolio
I photograph and video you working on clients during training. You leave with photos and video of your own work to use on your website and social media.
