Complimentary 3D Areola Tattoos for Breast Cancer Survivors in Tampa Bay, Florida

For many survivors, the 3D areola tattoo is the final step of the breast reconstruction journey. It is the moment the reflection in the mirror finally feels like you again. It should be the easiest part. Too often it becomes the most frustrating, because insurance turns it into a battle.

At the International Institute of Medical Tattoo Science and Artistry in St. Petersburg, Florida, Bianca Cypser performs 3D areola and nipple restoration complimentary for breast cancer survivors across Tampa Bay. There is no insurance paperwork, no referral chase, and no surprise bill. There is only a small $100 booking fee to hold your appointment, and beautiful, natural results from an artist who has completed hundreds of documented paramedical tattoo cases.

Does Insurance Cover a 3D Areola Tattoo? The Honest Answer

Under the federal Women's Health and Cancer Rights Act, insurance plans that cover a mastectomy are generally required to cover breast reconstruction, including nipple and areola restoration. In theory, your 3D areola tattoo should be covered. In reality, survivors run into denials, cosmetic classifications, pre authorization headaches, and out of pocket bills that can climb past a thousand dollars per session, even when a provider bills insurance for them. Areola micropigmentation is commonly billed under CPT codes 11920 and 11921, and many survivors only find those codes after a claim has already been denied or delayed.

Do You Bill Insurance?

Absolutely not. We do not bill your insurance company, and you will never get a claim, a denial, or a surprise invoice from us. Women deserve this service without an insurance battle, and this is also where the next generation of professionals learns to perform it, which is part of why we are able to offer it complimentary. Whether your claim was denied, your plan calls it cosmetic, or you have no coverage at all, you are exactly who this program is for. We ask only for a small $100 fee to hold your appointment and get you on our list. We keep that list moving and will try to get you in quickly, in a respectable, quiet, and private environment built around your comfort.

Who Performs Your Tattoo

This is not a high volume clinic. Your restoration takes place in a private, calm facility with only one or two highly trained paramedical professionals present at a time, alongside Bianca Cypser herself. Bianca is the founder of the International Institute of Medical Tattoo Science and Artistry, where she trains plastic surgeons, nurses, physician assistants, PMU artists, estheticians, and medical providers from across Florida and the country. She has personally completed hundreds of documented areola and paramedical tattoo cases. When you sit in her chair, you are working with one of the most experienced hands in the field, in a setting built entirely around your comfort and privacy.

The Areola Restoration Work We Do

Every survivor's body and surgery is different, and our work is matched to yours. Bianca performs bilateral 3D areola restoration, recreating both areolas and nipples with realistic shading, highlight, and dimension after a double mastectomy. She performs unilateral restoration, carefully matching a single new areola to your remaining natural side for true symmetry in color, size, and shape. Using advanced light and shadow technique, she creates a realistic 3D nipple illusion so a flat reconstruction reads as a natural, dimensional nipple. She corrects post surgical irregularities and deformities, using the illusion of ink to visually balance asymmetry, faded or distorted areolas, graft discoloration, and the shape changes left behind by reconstruction. And she blends areola and surgical scars, softening peri areolar scarring so the restored areola integrates seamlessly into the surrounding skin, with custom color matching for every skin tone.

Survivors From Every Florida Cancer Center Are Welcome

If you were treated or reconstructed at one of Florida's major cancer centers, such as Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center and Braman Family Breast Cancer Institute in Miami, Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Tampa General Hospital Cancer Institute, or AdventHealth Cancer Institute in Orlando, you have already navigated enough paperwork and appointments to last a lifetime. The final step should not be another fight. Once your surgeon clears you for tattooing, Bianca can complete your areola restoration complimentary in St. Petersburg.

Who Qualifies and How to Reserve Your Spot

This program is open to breast cancer survivors and reconstruction patients who have been cleared for tattooing by their surgeon. Because each restoration is performed personally and privately, complimentary spots are limited and offered by application. If you are ready to take the final step, call 727-504-4664 to apply and get on our list. A small $100 booking fee holds your appointment. Everything else, the restoration itself, is our gift to you.
